Sometimes you feel this strange sense of loss for complete strangers. I hadnt been bit by the racing bug when Senna was alive or was too young to bother. Soon enough i heard of this legendary figure who died a tragic death. i searched his races out on video, read of all his rivalries and controversies and i came to understand the lure of this man. He wasn't on the track to do his job, he was there to live, and win and not just to exist. He was electrifying and enigmatic. I wish there was someone like him today, but i guess that is too much too hope, anyone with senna-ish seeds might find what FIA is doing to f1 almost too dull to follow. Cobain's death note wrings true for Senna too. "Its better to burn out than to fade away".
P.S. haven't watched the documentary yet, but have heard good reviews about it, would update some source for it if i find any.
