The most successful driver on the Istanbul Park circuit is none other than ..... Felipe Massa, since its inclusion in the f1 championship in 2005 out of 6, Massa has won the race 3 times(2006-2008), But that was then, and with a car quite different to what Ferrari have right now (principle difference being then they had less problems). Lately there has been massive critcism for Massa, which i think is unwarranted, the poor man did quite a reasonable job last year(finished with 144 points :/). Massa came to Ferrari in the wake of one of the best #2 the sport has seen, Rubens Barichello and probably was told that he has to be JUST like Rubens when he grows up and was paired with none other than Schumi. I really don't blame Massa seeming to "passive", Ferrari ofcourse brings all the alpha male #1 of the sport to thier team (Schumi, Kimi, Fatso) so any de-facto #2 assumes this subdued kind of an attitude (specially with team orders being OK now). I still think he's a great driver, not the best but pretty great anyways, and he does his job reasonably well, Though he comes across as the shaky #2 i still think there is some game in him left. I think it might be too much to hope that Massa wins in Istanbul this year as the car is being rather pathetic but I hope that he does something amazingly ....innovative (at least) that shuts up the Massa bashers for a wee bit.
